Trying
to estimate Alan Moore's impact on the comic industry is like trying
to count all of the bodies piled up after the explosion at Hiroshima.
The man's talent,
vision, and ability to communicate can only be compared to a pipebomb
exploding in a baby carriage.
The consequences
are devastating. We wonder why we were holding back from thinking
or saying those same ideas which Alan has no qualms about unleashing
upon his audience.
Alan is to comics
what Beethoven was to music: a wakeup call. A kick in the nuts.
A new high school teacher who beat up the punks in his classroom.
God save this twisted,
ingenious Brit.
We need more dreamers
like him.
