British David Hitchcock is the talented creator of "Whitechapel Freak", an alternative point of view to Jack The Ripper legend, and the writer/artist of yet to be completed miniseries (of 3) "Springheeled Jack".

Could you introduce yourself to the Italian audience?
I am an independent, black and white comics publisher from the United Kingdom. I have been self publishing since the early 90s---very occasionally, as and when time permits.
What kind of comics and comics artists did influence you?
I have so many artists which I admire, to list them all I would probably need ANOTHER interview slot ;) I was first attracted to comics by the cover of Avengers N. 4, that dynamic shot of Captain America just blew me away, and I HAD to have that comic, that was

in the early 70s and I was about 8 years old and JACK KIRBY's art still has that effect on me today---I would say he is my all time favourite comics artist, closely followed by Steve Ditko, Steve Rude, Brian Bolland, Simon Bisley, and many many more. I'm just a sponge soaking in all these great artistic influences----but I don't think any of them show in my work.
